Lights of Love Tribute at West Parry S

Join us on Saturday, November 22, 2025, from 4:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. for an evening of reflection, remembrance, and comfort as we mark the first illumination of the Lights of Love Tribute at the West Parry Sound Health Centre, Lakeland Long-Term Care Entrance.

Among all our differences, we share one powerful truth — love endures. This touching evening invites families, friends, and neighbours to gather together to honour loved ones and celebrate the enduring bonds of love and memory.

When you dedicate a Light of Love, your loved one’s name and photo will be projected on the exterior of the hospital each evening from November 22 to November 29, a comforting reminder that their light continues to shine in our hearts and our community.

Warm drinks and light refreshments will be served, and there will be quiet spaces for conversation, reflection, and support from Hospice West Parry Sound grief volunteers.

To dedicate a Light of Love and include your loved one in the tribute, please visit LightsofLove.net and make your dedication by November 18.

After completing your dedication, a link will appear allowing you to upload your loved one’s photo. If you experience any issues, please email the photo and your contact details to foundation@wpshc.com. Together, we’ll keep the light of remembrance shining brightly across the West Parry Sound region.

Estate & Inheritance Planning
Information Session

Led by Barb Kerr, IG Wealth Management Inc. and Joyce W. Faria, Oldham Law Firm, the seminar will cover key considerations for creating or updating your will, how to protect your loved ones, and how you can leave a legacy that reflects your values.

Please know this is a complimentary event with no expectation or request to make a legacy gift. It’s simply our way of saying thank you and offering expert information during this important awareness month.

This is a great opportunity for families to learn about options for estates and inheritances and to start planning together. There will also be time for Q&A, and light refreshments will be served.

Whether you've already made a will or are just starting to think about it, we hope this seminar will be a helpful and informative resource.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact us at 705-746-4540 ext 3347; foundation@wpshc.com.
