Leave a gift in your Will - Bequests

A bequest is a gift of money or property that is given to the West Parry Sound Health Centre Foundation after your death.

Bequests allow people of ordinary means to create an important personal legacy by gifting a specific piece of property, sum of money, or a portion of an estate.

Upon death, The West Parry Sound Health Centre Foundation will issue a donation receipt for the bequest.  This receipt may result in a significant tax savings in the year of your death and the preceding year. Most people make a bequest when their Wills are drawn. Here is a list of Sample Will Clauses for you and your lawyer to contemplate.

When you inform us of your bequest, we can share the good news of your support with our clinicians.  New donations are motivating to every one of us and, sometimes, even spur others to make similar financial commitments.  When you inform us of your bequest we will meet with you and clarify your intentions so your gift is used in the manner you wish. 

At the time of notifying us of your bequest we will list your name on our Cascade of Caring Wall in the Atrium of the West Parry Sound Health Centre.
