FREE Registration DetailsRaise $200.00 or more through pledges online and you can request FREE registration.How do I qualify to run the race for FREE? Register for $25 (don’t forget to tick the waiver if you register online). Then log-in to our NEW e-Pledge option. Once registered, an e-pledging account will automatically be created for you, with your own personal profile page and ‘my pledge page’. Log-in to your account at PSPledge.com using the email and password submitted in the Online Run Registration Form. Now collect a minimum of $200. Any runner, walker or roller who raises $200.00 or more through their personal online fundraising page will be eligible to participate in the Biosphere Run Do It For Life – Walk, Run or Roll FREE. What if I don't want to fundraise? Can I make a personal donation of $200 or more and run for FREE? Yes. For those who do not want to collect pledges but still want to support West Parry Sound Health Centre, please click here to make a $200 donation in support of West Parry Sound Health Centre or give us a call at (705) 746-4540 x 3348. Please note: as per Canada Revenue Agency, a split receipt will be issued for $175 as you will be receiving a $25 benefit. For up-to-date information from CRA guidelines please click here. Are there restrictions as to
who can donate or sponsor my page? Anyone
can donate to your page BUT in order to qualify for the free race registration,
you must reach the minimum target of $200 in pledges.
Can I transfer my registration to another person to use? No, race registrations are non-transferable. What is the deadline to be eligible to run for free? The $200 mark must be met by May 27 in order to qualify for your free registration. Once I have reached the $200 mark, how do I recieve my regitration refund of $25? Please email cknox@wpshc.com with the email subject line “Free Race Registration” and let us know that you have reached the $200 e-pledge mark or bring your funds to the office. If emailing in, please include your full name, phone number and mailing address and we will coordinate details for the $25 registration refund to you should you choose to receive it. Please allow 2 business days and within that time you will receive an email from Cathy Knox to coordinate details of the $25 registration refund. What happens if I raise more than $200? GREAT! We encourage everyone to fundraise as much as they are able. Pledges buy new equipment for the Health Centre. What happens if I have cheques or cash donations to put towards my fundraising total?
